Iwai Beach

Iwai Beach is a calm beach open to Tokyo Bay, with its sandy beach extending over a length of 3 kilometers in a moderate arc.

The beach has been loved by people as a popular bathing resort for about 100 years.

About 6,000 school children and junior high school students visit Iwai Beach every year on study tour to drag a seine net, enjoy boat fishing, and so on.

Mt. Fuji can be seen on the other side of Tokyo Bay on a clear day.
