| Daijionji Temple |
 |
|
Daijionji Temple is said to have been founded in the
fifth year of Tenpyo Hoji (761), by Tang Dynasty Buddhist
priest Ganjin. The main building of the temple enshrines
the Seiryoji Temple-style Shakyamuni Tathagata standing
statue. Many other cultural assets remain here as well,
such as the Imperial envoy gate, which was used for
Imperial messengers, and a temple bell that has been
designated as a cultural property by Chiba Prefecture.

| Ryushoin (Namegawa Kannon) |

|
Ryushouin (Namerigawa Kannon) is said to have been
founded by Jikaku Daishi in the fifth year of Showa
(838). The main building of the temple, built in the
11th year of Genroku (1698), is a magnificent structure
of about 14.4 meters long on each of the four sides.
It is designated as Chiba Prefectures tangible
cultural property. The Niou gate at the entrance of
the temple grounds, built at the end of the Muromachi
era, is an important cultural property designated by
the National Government.
