“Chiba” of mild climate, blessed with rich nature.
Chiba Prefecture, surrounded on three sides by the sea, has an oceanic mild climate, warm in winter and cool in summer. Especially the Minamiboso coast has rarely frost even in winter due to the warm current (Black Current) running in the offing. It, surrounded by the Pacific Ocean, is blessed with wide, green-full, rich nature and a superior location adjacent to the metropolitan Tokyo, and thanks to the improved expressways, you can have easy access to various places within the prefecture.
Chiba Prefecture located on the east edge of the Mainland is a locality held in the magnificent Pacific Ocean, and 32% is covered from the area in which Tokyo is set to Kanagawa Prefecture with green that the forest and 26% are as rich as the farmland more widely.
- Kaomogawa Sea World
Kamogawa Sea World is characterized by the popular performances of heroic killer whales, dolphins that have a sense of speed, and comical sea lions.
- Oyama Senmaida
Selected as one of the “100 beautiful terraced rice paddies in Japan,” Oyama Senmaida is known as the nearest terraced rice paddies to Tokyo.
- Seichoji Temple
Seichoji Temple, standing at the top of Mt. Kiyosumi, is closely related to Nichiren (a Buddhist monk).
Niemonjima floating in the sea at the front of Futomi beach in Kamogawa in Southern Boso Peninsula is possessed by a private owner.
- Tanjoji Temple
This temple was constructed in October 1276 by Nikka, a disciple of Nichiren, at the site of Nichiren’s house.

This park is made at the site of the castle of Satomi Clan.

The firm with a large lot of 2.5 million square meters entertains visitors with a wide variety of pleasures such as interaction with animals, sheep show, and activities such as milking and harvesting of seasonÁs crops.
- Nokogiri-yama ("saw-mountain")
Visitors can see one of the largest Daibutsu (a great statue of Buddha) in Asia and 1500 Rakan Statutes (Buddhist saint statues).

The valley offers tourists scenery of the beautiful nature rich in changes of colors by the season.

It is a grand restaurant & shop complex facility featured by floor-to-ceiling glass windows all around the restaurant extending along the beach.
- Boshu Uchiwa
Boshu Uchiwa is one of the big three uchiwa, a non-folding traditional Japanese fan, together with Kyo Uchiwa (from Kyoto) and Marugame Uchiwa (from Marugame, Kagawa).
- Chikura Flower Garden
Because of the effect of the warm Kuroshio Current flowing off the coast, Chikura is a land of mild climate, being warm even in the midwinter and permitting raising flowers outdoors.
