Samurai house

Samurai house street has the traces of old Sakura, a castle town. The earthwork and planting fences built along the road remind us of bygone days.

The Kawara house at the back of the street is said to be the oldest of all samurai houses remaining in the city.

The exhibited furniture provides a glimpse into the life style of the samurais in Sakura.
