Sakura Juntendo Memorial Museum

Sakura Juntendo is a tutoring school of Western medical science opened in 1943 by Satoh Taizen, a doctor of Western medicine who was invited by Hotta Masayoshi, the feudal lord of Sakura Domain.

Western medical treatment and education were offered at this school, producing Sato Takanaka and many other people who led the society of medicine in the Meiji period.
