Nokogiri-yama ("saw-mountain")

Visitors can see one of the largest Daibutsu (a great statue of Buddha) in Asia and 1500 Rakan Statutes (Buddhist saint statues).

Look over the edge of sheer cliff called Jigoku-nozoki ("a peep at Hell") in order to enjoy a chilling view from the peak of the mountain.

Cable car fare: adults 900 yen, children 450 yen (round trip)
