Holy Places for Sweethearts
Project to certify “spots suited for proposals” as “Holy Places for Sweethearts” among tourist spots in Japan.  Out of 105 such places in Japan, three places are in Chiba prefecture. 


“Stone Town Kanaya” (Futtsu city)

A Holy Place with an amazing view of Tokyo Bay.  Ring the bell with your sweetheart, and your wish will be fulfilled.
   



Access

By train: JR Uchibo Line Hamakanaya Station (about 2 hours from Tokyo Station; about 2 and a half hours from Narita Airport)


“Keisei Rose Garden” (Yachiyo city)

Surrounded by roses, the elegant time spent with your sweetheart here will be incredible.
In the garden there is a restaurant that selectively uses natural ingredients and a café, which satisfy both mind and stomach.

By train 
Tokyo Metro Tozai Line (Rapid Train) Yachiyo Midorigaoka Station (about 1 hour)
② Get off at Keisei Line Yachiyodai Station and take a bus to the stop “Keisei Bara-en” (about 1 hour).


“Nakanoshima Ohashi” (Kisarazu city)

A Holy Place known for the legend of the red bridge, which says that if a man crosses the bridge with his girlfriend on his back, they will become wedded.  This place was introduced in the popular TV drama “Kisarazu Cat’s Eye, ” which attracted many couples to this place from all over Japan. 
This bridge, which is designed so that a boat can pass under it, is 25 m high from the ocean surface and is the highest overhead walkway in Japan.



 

Access

By train:  Get off at JR Uchibo Line Kisarazu Station (about 1 and a half hours from Tokyo Station)
High-speed bus: Take a bus (Nitto Kotsu) from Haneda Airport and get off at the last stop at the East Exit of Kisarazu (about 1 hour and 15 minutes)



“Chiba Port Tower” (Chiba City)

Chiba Port Tower has been newly recognized as a “mecca for lovers.”
On the 2nd floor, “Promenade of love” is located at 105 meters above the ground.
How about taking a “loving photo” with the monument?
You can have a view of Tokyo Bay from the 4th floor (113 meters high).
On the 3rd floor (109 meters high), there is a café and restaurant with a magnificent view.
The tower will be decorated with Christmas lights towards the end of the year.
