Selected as one of the “100 beautiful terraced rice paddies in Japan,” Oyama Senmaida is known as the nearest terraced rice paddies to Tokyo. More than 375 rice paddies remind us of the original image of old Japan, and many photographers visit there repeatedly.
To have urban dwellers take part in rice growing, the rice paddy owner system has been adopted.
