Chiba prefecture, which is surrounded by ocean in three directions and has a warm climate, is rich in marine products and agricultural produce.

 

Tests to date show radioactive iodine and cesium levels are below provisional control values. 
  Retailers are asked to continue business as usual and consumers are asked to continue shopping without fear. 
  Chiba will continue to ensure safety of commodities sold in the prefecture.
